Another tube amp in my collection. Though it has only got an output power of 20 watts it gets a lot of noise out of of the two EL84 tubes in the power stage. Two channels to be selected by a footswitch and a third mode called contour on the lead channel. The EQ section has treble, middle, bass and presence available. The preamp stage uses 4 ECC83 tubes, the speaker is a 10-inch "Vintage Black Shadow".
Like most Mesa Boogie amps the Subway Rocket is built to last a lifetime with a very fine finish.
